Whitewoods XT-17 Snowshoes — Whitewoods XT snowshoes are molded from cold tested polyethylene for Xtra light weight and hardened steel crampons and crampon rails for secure traction. The XT models are a good economical choice for the light touring snowshoe adventures. All XT bindings are bolted to crampons, not riveted, for easy maintenance. XT-17 youth model has a ratchet toe strap, adjustable heel strap and 8 long linear crampon rails. Weights are based on the total weight including any gear. We have simplified the sizing guide. Consider the average conditions of snow, either loose or hard pack when choosing the sizes, since snow pack effects flotation more than weight.
